Existem histórias que se tornam contos, que ficam para sempre no imaginário e na tradição de um País, o conto da Sopa da Pedra é um desses. Esse conto fala da forma melindrosa de fazer uma sopa com uma pedra que para além da pedra tem muitos outros ingredientes tão ou mais importantes que a própria pedra.

There are stories that become tales and live on in the imaginary and in the traditions of a country. The tale of “The Stone Soup” is one of them. This tale tells in a disguised manner a way to make a soup with a stone, using a lot of ingredients also, or more important than the stone it self. 

A história que vos vamos contar hoje fala de uma sopa que também foi feita com vários ingredientes, ingredientes como as mãos de quem os cozinha, o olhar de quem os recebe, o sorriso de quem a desfruta, a vontade de ir para quem lá não esteve e a mais importante iguaria posta após no final de tão grande cozinhado… a vontade de voltar e desfrutar de dias como estes, dias que aquecem o coração e enchem a alma.

The story that we are going to tell you today speaks of a soup that was also made with various ingredients from the hands of those who cooks them, the look of those who welcome them, with the smile of those who enjoy them, the will of those who didn’t went but which they did, and the most important dish at the end of a such a great meal… the desire to return and enjoy days like these, that worm up our hearts and fill our souls.
